Another continuation from previous day. This time sees me finishing the header and working towards integrating it into a broader site design.

Today has the completed (unless I tweak some more) header image for my friend’s site that I showed a WIP of yesterday.
It’s MUCH wider than needed for a page header, but designed so that the important content will always be in view, with the extra being an added bonus for users with a wider than normal screen resolution.

Following on, again, from the last few days from my wordpress mockup and coding, I’ve laid out the additional pages.
There’s still some work to do, by way or organising content better and implementing a few more graphics, but it’s definitely a step towards completion.

Yesterday I posted about a mockup of a site. Today I’ve been coding it into a working design. It’s not complete yet, but you can see what I’ve produced so far.

After nearly six weeks of asking a new client to provide a high-resolution digital file of their logo so that I can begin work on designing their Web site, I finally received an e-mail with the logo attached. It was part of a 2.5-by-2-inch black-and-white newspaper ad that was sent to me pasted into a Word document.
Been through similar stuff before. It’s not fun to have...
